Sometimes. A big tilt-up on Guardian Street with an IDF at the far end of the floor is a good candidate, because copper tops out around 300 feet and fiber does not. If the whole building fits inside that distance, Cat6A is cheaper and simpler. We measure it during the survey and tell you honestly which one you need.
